Happy Monday! We wanted to fill you in on what's been going on at The Fern in the past few weeks....
Complete Works
2017 is off to a great start for The Fern! In February, The Fern Shakespeare Company made their Seattle debut to a sold out run for Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Complete Works was a fundraiser for our upcoming production of Macbeth -- we cannot thank you enough for coming out to see it!

Speaking of productions & tickets, Tickets to Macbeth (May 5-21) are on sale now!!! Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door. (Student Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door).
Get your tickets now--this show is going to be AMAZING -- 8 actors playing 26 parts--oh did we mention the casting is gender neutral? This is going to be some #BadassShakespeare.
Additionally, we will have 2 $10 Monday industry nights for you folk who are in shows during that time period. Performances will be at Theatre 4 in The Armory at The Seattle Center. Rehearsals start today and we can't wait to share with you some behind the scenes action!

We need your support now more than ever! Because we just moved to Seattle, we aren't eligible for many city grants (even though we are a 501c3), so we can't produce our first season without your help.
We know that there are a lot of causes out there now that need financial help, and the arts are one of them. We also understand that folks may want to, but not be able to give a large sum of money to all the causes they care about at once--We totally get it!
ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST HELPFUL WAYS YOU CAN HELP US IS BY GIVING JUST $5-$10 BUCKS EVERY MONTH (THAT IS ROUGHLY THE PRICE OF A LATTE) TO OUR MONTHLY GIVING PROGRAM.
Monthly giving is an incredibly valuable program where you permit us to automatically charge $5 or $10 (or however much you want) on your card each month.
By pooling your small monthly donation with others who also choose to give a small monthly donation, you and those other folks will have given us a huge endowment--all for around price of 1 or 2 lattes a month!
Plus it's tax deductible! To borrow a phrase from our friends at The Atlanta Shakespeare Company, It's the best money the IRS never made :)
These funds will go toward paying our amazing actors & crew, costumes, props, rent for the space, etc. By helping us out this way we can bring you Two AMAZING Shakespearian productions this season!
