2017 is off to a great start for The Fern! In February, The Fern Shakespeare Company made their Seattle debut to a sold out run for Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Complete Works was a fundraiser for our upcoming production of Macbeth and the funds raised will help fund Macbeth--we cannot thank you enough for coming out to see it! Speaking of Mackers...

Welcome to the new Fern Shakespeare Company blog! Happy 2017!!!! You may notice something different in our name—We are now officially The Fern Shakespeare Company (previously The Fern Theatre).
Why did we change our name? Well, simply, we decided that we wanted our company’s focus to be on Original Practice Shakespeare performance. We’ve already produced four Shakespeare plays and we realized that we wanted to devote our company’s mission to the production of amazing & accessible classical theatre. To emphasize this, we decided to change our name to The Fern Shakespeare Company. Yay! With the new name, comes a new web address—you can find us on the web at FernShakespeare.com and on Facebook & Twitter! ....
